 Thank you for taking the
time to visit the website of the Corporate Counsel Middle East Group. We hope
that this site will grow to be a valuable and important resource for
in-house counsel in the Middle East region and serve as an effective introduction to
our group, who we are and what we do. The site is intended to be a
resource for you and we welcome your feedback, views and opinions on how
we can improve it to better serve you.
Our group is a young one
but ambitious one. We believe that the group fills an
important niche in this area and have bold and imaginative plans to
develop the group in many ways to serve our membership. We believe that
we are the first organization for in-house counsel anywhere in the
Middle East region. Our Board of Directors has been hard at work,
developing membership benefits and planning top notch programs that we
believe will be of interest to our members. You will find details about
these events on our web site, together with pictures from some of our past
events.
We aspire to be an
effective resource and link for in-house counsel, with each other, with
the valued partners with whom we have established relationships, and
with the broader UAE legal community and the Government. We are by and
for in-house counsel, so we understand the many challenges that you face
and plan to offer you as many resources as possible to help you meet
those many challenges.
Over the next year, we
are actively looking at ways in which to provide you with enhanced
value. As you know better than anyone, we live in a dynamic, fast-paced
and rapidly changing business and legal environment in this region. As
such, we always welcome any ideas and suggestions that you may have as
to how we can better serve you and your interests.
